Our client an important multinational company is looking for his branch in Czech Republic: IT Middleware Specialist (m/f) Job Description: This person should have the necessary skill set to conduct any Infrastructure Service Request (ISR) within the DB/Web hosting & Monitoring group, part of Service Design and Deployment (SD&D) for Infrastructure Hosting: i.e. conduct a technical analysis, write technical solution proposal mainly for the refresh and consolidation program for one or more Wintel servers and applications, and implement or coordinate implementation and ensure level 3 support during short warranty period after golive. This person will also coordinate the initial data gathering, the communication with application owners, technical contact and financial approver. This person needs to have good negotiation skills as he will occasionally have to influence others. Activities may require occasional availability off the normal business hours. •For each site, analyze the complete infrastructure (all servers and applications), understanding the role played by each of them, their criticality and potential impacts of consolidation. •For every application, analyze deeply the as-is environment (hardware, software, applications, existing server load, capacity planning) •Develop a Technical Solution Design document (based on existing templates) summarizing the actual environ-ment, propose a plan and the migration strategy. •Evaluate the possibility to migrate existing application to corporate datacenters. •Summarize existing costs, migration fees and future costs and create a business case showing the financial ben-efits if any and sale the solution to the internal business customers. •Coordinate / support 3rd parties or internal resources for build activities or implement on his/her own in testing environment and in production. •Verify built solution meets business requirements. •Provide advanced support as-needed: for root cause analysis & proactive problem solving, able to setup test platforms. •Capture activity metrics and work closely with ISR team. Requirements: •Provide a broad technical expertise in varied application architectures including Windows, MS SQL or Oracle Da-tabases, Financial applications. •Proven experience in Customer service delivery in a matrix international; organization (>4 years) •Ability to communicate effectively with customers (excellent oral + written English ; needs to be understood in about 10 different European countries) •Understanding of applications architectures (tiered environment, basic firewall rules, …) as well as infrastructure management •Global experience •Good presentation skills and the ability to interact well at all levels of the organization •Results oriented •Ability to set clear expectations & goals and hold people accountable to them •Ability to negotiate, argue and convince customers. •Self motivated and very good ability to work stand alone on projects and capable to give a visibility on his/her work •Microsoft MCSE certified ... http://bull.hn/l/I3IS/"
