"Hiring an IT Project Manager in Dearborn, MI Duration: Permanent Relocation: Yes ** Visa Sponsorship not Available ** Job Description You will interact with a wide variety of personality and management levels. As the PM you will collaborate closely with Business Customers, IT technical architects, development managers, other development team members, and IT Operations personnel to manage the planning and delivery of software development projects. Critical Skills/Experiences: 5+ years IT experience in a Fortune 500 company Experience and proven ability to Project Manage Large Scale IT Development and/or Infrastructure Deployments: Scope; Schedule; Costs; Risks; Issues; Communication Ability to effectively manage and stakeholder expectations Working knowledge and experience in Solution Development Methodology (SDM). Experience in Unified SDM and Agile practices a plus. Must ensure project implements quality assurance and quality control processes Ability to communicate effectively with business users and IT professionals including globally distributed teams Experiences in rationalizing regional concerns into common global solutions (NA, Europe & APA) For Software Development PMs: Must have experience in working in onsite-offshore delivery model Technical Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager Microsoft office tools experience (MS Project, Excel, Access) Knowledge of use case concepts Ability to utilize desktop tools to communicate (Instant Messaging, WebEx, Audio Conference etc.) Experience of 6-Sigma methodology for process analysis and improvement is a plus Experience with Clarity Project Management tool a plus PMP Certification a plus but not required Experience managing agile projects, knowledge of templates, approaches that support an agile delivery framework; being able to differentiate between tactics for a traditional waterfall development and those appropriate for an agile development.
