Ensures timely/reliable high level design and detailed design. Activities include sponsorship of requested functionality from triage and documentation through development, testing, training and deployment of approved requests. Leadership of our design and testing process require a skilled analyst who is able to understand a wide range processes and business expertise including knowledge of healthcare issues, processes, applications, policies, and standards. Develops high-level database architectures and ensures that database designs are consistent with information architecture and information management and industry standards. Analyzes systems configuration and components, data models, data dictionary, inbound and outbound interfaces, data profiling and quality, etc. This will involve wo rking with many service teams (i.e. Data management ETL design and construct, DBA, Data Modeling, Applications Delivery etc) to determine best design taking into account cost, timeframe, quality, resource constraints, maintenance, ease of use etc. Leads internal/external resources in second level severity problem resolutions during the project’s Development and Introduction phases. Oversees testing process, including review of test use-case definitions, testing results, and setting priority of bugs to fix. Provides input on exit criteria used for testing new releases Minimum Requirements: 5+ years' proven experience with systems/process analysis. BA or BS in Computer Science, health care or related field. Must Requirements: Knowledge of Ab Initio. Understand a wide range health care processes and business expertise including knowledge of healthcare issues, workflows, applications, policies, and standards. Must Requirements: Knowledge of Ab Initio. Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and ability to work within a team. Hands on experience using complex SQL statements required . Microsoft Office skills required. Understand a wide range health care processes and business expertise including knowledge of healthcare issues, workflows, applications, policies, and standards. Highly Desired Requirements: Experience working in a very large, complex data management organization and can work well under pressure. Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes preferred. Working knowledge of Teradata and CONOS preferred. Mainframe, and web-based tools experience desirable.
