Operating in a small, closely-knit team the successful candidate will drive and manage the platform build, service delivery, and client & supplier relationships. Minimum of 15 years exp 8 years working at Chief Operations Officer Level 2. 8 years working for a Mobile Telco Operator current (Vendor exp will not work) 3. Responsibility for technical operational strategy, long-range network and systems management plan. 4. Demonstrate successful execution of Mobile Telco Operator business strategies for company products and services. 5. Smooth operation of both legacy and 3G/4G networks and systems. 6. Short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals. Managing NOC, DSC and maintenance capex and all network and systems opex. 7. Establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for senior management. 8. Core Implementation 9. 2G, 3G and 4G experience 10. As the ideal candidate you have a strong mobile telco operations background and your experience includes mobile telephony and fixed line environment. 11. Development of training and staff development programs. 12. Supervision of Operations and Network Management field staff with special responsibility for coordinating with Regional technical staff and facilities. 13. Dealing with major system vendors, setting KPIs and SLAs 14. Reports include GM Operations & Maintenance, GM Continuous Improvement (Optimisation, Performance Management), GM OSS & Tools.
