DESCRIPTION OF TASKS This expert resource will participate in the following task assignments: • Evolutive maintenance of the current RefApp service, mainly upon JEE technology. o Integration of EC security (ECAS) new releases o Configuration of JEE libraries o Integration of development tools : maven, eclipse o Migration of RefApp building blocks: WebLogic deployment, JPA… o Test automation : Selenium Webdrive, JUnit o Integration into CITnet ALM platform (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, SVN) • Evaluation of new libraries o Development of Proof of concept for new libraries and JEE technologies o Evaluation documentation o Evaluation of third-part projects and libraries in the stake of reusability. • Integration of new JEE based technologies into the RefApp o Velocity scripting • S(he) will also provide support, consultancy and advice to the various development teams at the EC if and when required. Conception, design, coordination of the implementation and quality assessment of information systems technical architectures and supporting infrastructures • Test automation and code quality tools: Selenium, PMD, Findbug, Sonar. 3 • Analysis and design reviews of information systems enterprise-, information- and application component architectures • JEE expertise for code audit, testing and deployment of applications. • Assistance with the implementation of the technical architecture during information system infrastructure development projects • Elaboration of guidelines and recommendations concerning technical architecture in software development, taking into account the existing infrastructure at the European Commission and its evolution. • Extensive technical documentation (in both English and French) for platform and system administrators. • Extensive documentation for end-user. • Production of software architecture documents 2. Required specific expertise: Skills • Solid experience in the Java programming language • Excellent expertise with the various components of the J2EE technology platform. • Proven experience in the interoperability domain based upon the Web services standards • Familiar with UML modelling tools and the Eclipse interactive development editor • Excellent knowledge of the Open Source Collaboration Model and the most popular open source Java frameworks • Excellent knowledge of SQL database technology and of the object relational mapping domain • Experience with web technologies other than Java (PHP, etc…) Profile • Good communication skills (both in English and French) • Team spirit • High degree of initiative • Service oriented mind-set Interested candidate send resumes @ jose.sela@ibertech.org  "
