"Hiring a PHP Developer in Dublin, Ireland Software Engineer (Web) Department: Online Engineering Reports to: Director of engineering Location: Dublin, Ireland Summary: The Software Engineer (Web), as a part of the Online Engineering team, is responsible for developing robust and highly scalable web services and associated tools for our web and mobile games. Responsibilities: Develope highly scalable and robust web based game services for our flash games hosted on Facebook.com, or for our iOS and Android games. Design, develop, test, maintain and/or contribute to PHP based modular framework being used for developing the services. Prototype, develop, test and maintain tools and applications to aid and access the game services. Analyze technical requirements for periodic project cycles and implement code accordingly. Evaluate and learn about external tools, technologies, SOA and other services to keep self updated as well as for possible internal integrating. Conduct review of code, specifications, project plans and processes with team members. Required Skills/Personal Requirements: " 5+ years in professional software developement " Expertise in PHP, including extensive use of OOP and unit testing frameworks " Proficiency in database design and development in MySQL, MongoDB " Experience with Front End Web Development technologies such as Javascript, AJAX, CSS and JQuery " Experience with Facebook PHP APIs is highly desirable " Experience with cloud computing platforms and technologies is highly desirable.
