"Job: Maintenance Specialist in Columbus, OH Maintenance Specialist Manufacturing & Production Root of Jobs - Manufacturing United States - Ohio - Columbus/Zanesville - Grove City, 43123 Full-time Benefits - Full Bonus Eligible - No Overtime Eligible - Yes Candidate Experience · 2+ to 5 years of experience · Management Experience Required – No · Minimum Education - High School or Equivalent · Willingness to Travel – Never · Visa Candidates Considered - No Skills and Certifications · Direct repair experience with NC, CNC and PLC cont · Experience working with and repairing Fanuc Series · Working understanding of vacuum principles. Responsibilities include the following: 1) Diagnose and repair all equipment related to the manufacturing process and the facility. 2) Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment related to the manufacturing process and the facility. 3) Install new equipment and assist with bringing it online for operations. 4) Determine parts and material needed for repairs and or new equipment installations and submit electronic purchase requisitions. 5) Enter maintenance data into a computerized maintenance management system. 6) Complete all required documentation. Qualifications include: 1) Direct repair experience with NC, CNC and PLC controlled equipment. 2) Experience working with and repairing Fanuc Series 0 & 16 and Mazatrol 640 Controls, as well as GE Fanuc and A-B PLC's. 3) Working understanding of vacuum principles. 4) Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and willingness to work independently and as an effective team member. 5) Mechanical and electrical background working with industrial production machinery and facilities equipment. 6) Training in electronics, electrical or hydraulic systems. 7) Familiarity with fabrication and machining operations. 8) Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. 9) Willingness to work with outside contractors. 10) Working understanding of pressure or temperature principles would be a plus.
