Job Title: Bioinformatics Programmer Job Location: Rochester, MN Job Duration: 06 Months(contract) Pay Range: Open Job Description: Primary responsibilities include working as part of a team to provide application development and testing support for bioinformatics unit, including testing and development of genomics-related projects. Task is to develop a program using java/xsl/xslt to convert TCGA XML clinical files to csv file which can be fed into or integrated with EZLoader, an internal system that loads clinical data into database. The candidate must have the following skills: *Java development experience (average or above) *Familiar with XML and xml parser (java) *Has working experience using XSL (EXtensible Stylesheet Language) and XSLT (XSL transoformation) *Experience with testing using junit test framework *Working experience with linux and windows *Experience with linux shell script *Experience with web development would be useful Required Skills & Experience: *5 Years of experience in Java is Required *5 Years of experience in XML is Required *5 Years of experience in Database is Required *2 Years of experience in RAD is Required *2 Years of experience in Web Service is Required *2 Years of experience in Analytical Skills is Required Desired Skills: *2 Years of experience in R/SAS Statistics is Desired *5 Years of experience in Websphere is Desired Please complete the following and send back with your updated resume.
