Who Would Like To Work Here As A Business Analyst?! in New York, NY IIT is the EXCLUSIVE provider of IT staffing services for NYCHA. I have three (3) BA roles available. Client is seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with the Special Strategic Projects Manager to develop the strategy and specifications for the technological infrastructure to support the department. The Business Analyst will play an integral role in shaping the ways technology will interact with department's operations. The Business Analyst will report jointly to the Special Strategic Projects Manager and the IT Project Manager. Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following: Working with the team to intimately understand current and future operations and processes for the entire department Gathering and documenting business requirements for a new technology infrastructure, which may include multiple, coordinating systems Creating a workflow document and mapping the business workflow to the proposed web based solution or solutions QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 2-5 years experience as a Business Analyst for Web Based Applications involving a complex workflow Superior communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: At least 3 years documenting business rules/workflow/operational processes (using tools like Visio) and mapping this workflow to a web based application solution At least 3 years experience in creating and maintaining system requirements and functional design Experience working on economic development or poverty alleviation related projects SKILLS DESIRED: Creative and strategic thinker, entrepreneurial Exceptional project management, organizational, analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
