Selected individual will support and coordinate safety awareness programs and ensure proper reporting of work related accidents. In addition, this position will coordinate and/or conduct all safety training, including physical aspects such as proper bending, lifting, and stretching procedures, as well as any related follow-up necessary to maintain compliance in these areas. Complete implementation of the Corporate Safety Manual, safety procedures, checklist and audits are also key areas of responsibility for this position. Other requirements of the position involve riding on route with Service Sales Representatives (Route Drivers) and working in a production warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance among all affected workers. While riding on route and working in the warehouse, the HSE Coordinator will be responsible to assist with the physical duties of those positions, including lifting, carrying and walking products into and out of customer accounts, and continuous bending, twisting and stretching to move products throughout the various areas of the plant.
