Livelink Developer in Calgary, AB Canada Location: Calgary Length of Contract: 6 month initial with the possibility of getting extended up to 2 yrs.   Livelink Developer   Overview Our client, a government body, is in need of a talented Livelink Developer to join their Calgary based team on a contract basis. This will be an initial 6 month contract, with potential to extend for as long as 30 months total.   Required Critical/Mandatory Skills: Proven experience with Livelink Workflow and XML workflow extensions (2 yrs.) Proven experience Livelink Web Reports and Web reports workflow extensions (2 yrs.) Proven experience in developing form-based user interfaces that use Livelink functionality (2 yrs.) Proven experience with Livelink Web and PDF Forms (2 yrs.) Desired Skills: Proven experience with Livelink Workflow and XML workflow extensions (2 yrs.) Proven experience Livelink Web Reports and Web reports workflow extensions (2 yrs.) Proven experience in developing form-based user interfaces that use Livelink functionality (2 yrs.) Proven experience with Livelink Web and PDF Forms (2 yrs.)   Project Scope: The work of the developer will entail the creation of workflows, search interfaces and performance metric reporting processes for Block Profiles and other IIS Livelink documents. This work will be conducted within the development environment. In addition, the developer will ensure that a knowledge transfer to the IIS Information and Document Management Specialist and the IT Document & Records Management team occurs, sufficient to maintain the applications and to develop new applications.   Objectives: Respond to the items in the Management Audit 2008 Records Management Audit to better manage the lifecycle of our information according to the Corporate Records Classification and Retention Schedule (CRCRS). To better manage our records, in accordance with technologies that they have adapted (Livelink). This will include integration with 3rd party systems. To reduce shared drive and personal drive storage to a minimum and reduce the amount of duplicate documents located throughout these drives (cost reduction). To reduce the number of records and document systems that are currently maintained by IIS Business Support and IT (cost reduction). To better retrieve and leverage the information within IIS through full context search and integration functions. Support planned e-government and e-commerce applications and provide repeatable business processes using the workflow configuration tool. To provide collaboration through the use of a common folder structure, task management, shared document repositories, on-line discussion groups, etc. Support customer self-service by providing a centralized record repository for both standard and non-standard documents.
