Materials Control QA Manager in Lancaster, PA Materials Control QA Manager Lancaster, PA Contract-24-30 months send resumes to: bciociola@covexllc.com The Materials Control Quality Assurance Manager will provide quality assurance oversight to the Lancaaster materials management and warehousing operations. The Materials Control Quality Assurance Manager will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that all materials used by the site from incoming receipt through disposition to production or destruction are processed according to their designated quality status. This role will be responsible for leading the site Materials Review Board (MRB) and oversee compliance to material movement, storage, reconciliation, segregation, quarantine, destruction, and issuance to production. This position will also oversee compliance to processes for receiving, warehousing, sampling and inspection. The Materials Control Quality Assurance Manager will have responsibilities for approving materials issuance to production, materials destruct orders and materials re-evaluation and expiration periods. This individual will develop and execute quality standards for necessary checks at receiving docks upon inbounding of all materials, including confirmation of appropriate wooden pallets, confirmation of approved suppliers, confirmation of comprehensive shipping records and material certificates, and sampling and inspection criteria. This position will also oversee compliance to warehousing standards towards maintaining accurate records of material identification, location, status, expiration/re-evaluation dates, and quantities for all materials received by the site. . This includes the routine evaluation of all materials in storage and previously dispositioned to production or destruction to ensure clear history of material use. This role will also coordinate with site nonconformance personnel to support investigations dealing with material movement and to ensure that quarantined and nonconforming materials are properly held. This individual will assure adherence to Company and Regulatory Health Authority requirements. This individual will communicate to management in accordance with the management event and notification quality system procedures, interact with Regulatory Health Authority representatives during inspections and support responses to Regulatory Health Authorities. Education: A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. Focused degree in sciences or engineering is preferred. At least five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industry is required. Thorough knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements/guidance is required. Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP is strongly preferred. Experience managing others is required. Experience with transportation/logistics or warehousing is strongly preferred.
