We are seeking a driven Sales Rep to call on Hospitals, Medical Schools, Healthcare Groups and Clinics; selling Medical research databases, Point of Care databases and Professional eLearning solutions. Our Client is one of the leading providers of electronic databases for schools, libraries, medical institutions, corporations and consumers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for new business and renewal sales growth in the territory covering NY & NJ. This position will require strong consultative sales skills, exceptional relationship development skills and unconditional commitment to customer service. You will be asked to perform on many levels including the ability to achieve an expert level of knowledge of the products and market space and to be an undying customer advocate. This position is a growth position with an opportunity for promotion from within the organization. Other Responsibilities;  Defining and executing territory sales plans  Provide balanced sales coverage of accounts within the region  Be well informed about current industry trends  Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products  Requirements;  Degree required  1 1/2+ years Sales experience (Inside or Field Sales)  Track record of sales success  Experience selling database research products a big plus!  Experience selling to the Healthcare, Hospital and/or library markets another plus  Willing and Able to travel  May live ANYWHERE within the territory The compensation package includes a base salary with commissions/bonuses plus a car, laptop and Smart-phone.
