Please visit our website www.joyglobal.com for more information. We are currently looking to add a Senior Accountant in our Milwaukee, WI location. Responsibilities: • Support monthly closing process. • Perform monthly management reporting and financial analysis. • Consolidate financial information reported from Operating Units. • Provide backup and support for financial system administration. • Prepare monthly journal entries and account analysis. • Prepare basic financial statements. • Prepare reports which support reporting to investors. • Prepare reports to be submitted to various governmental authorities. • Support shared services initiatives. • Complete or assist with special projects Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Three to five years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance department role at a public and global company. • Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills. • Prior SAP and Hyperion experience and strong technical aptitude is beneficial. • Working knowledge of GAAP. • Effective communication skills with all levels – upper management to clerical from throughout the world. • Solid problem-solving skills with an attention to detail required. • Effective time management, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
