Quality Assurance Manager in Wayne, PA The purpose of this position is to supervise the quality assurance staff and all record functions for the division utilized in the release of finished product. The position also responsible for the maintenance of the quality system, and ensures that all customer requests are handled expeditiously. This includes leading root cause evaluation of customer concerns. Additionally, this position plays a key role in continuous improvement. Principal Accountabilities Comply with all environmental & health and safety federal, state, local regulations and company policies Supervises the activities of the QA records coordinator. Leads root cause analysis of customer related concerns. Provides LIMS integration and maintenance support for the Quality groups. Supervises the activities of the product quality engineers. Internal audits of all records and files. Interfaces with customer QA contacts. Interfaces with JM Detroit and other JM facilities. Ensures the proper implementation of new technologies as they relate to the QA group. Implements corrective actions and cost reductions. Provides support to SSEC as required. Audits all aspects of the quality management system to ensure compliance to both internal and external quality requirements Provided a leadership role toward maintaining external quality certifications as required by internal JM management and external customers. Ensures proper and effective communication of issues across all departments. Knowledge, Skills, and Educational Requirements BS in a technical field preferred or equivalent with 8 -10 years of experience. Preferred background in Math and Science. Must have previous experience supervising or managing a department Statistical analysis skills required. Six sigma training experience preferred. Must be able to work independently. Good organizational skills with emphasis for detail. Proven record of cross functional communication and team building skills required.
