"Product Manager (Digital Imaging) in Lagos, Nigeria Our Client is a world leader within the Consumer electronics industry. They now have a requirement for a Product Manager (Digital Imaging) in their Lagos Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Product Manager is responsible for various aspects of Product Management including but not limited to the following: Product Expertise for the organization:    Answering product inquiries from internal stakeholders, sales teams, resellers and customers.  Provide support for sales teams.  Serve as second level sales support for the closing of large bids or to "save the sale".  Act as product champion to ensure the development and timely distribution of marketing materials and promotions.  Represent the portfolio at regional, national and international conferences, meetings, advisory councils, customer shows, workshops and product information sessions. Product launch planning and execution: Ensuring communication across all stakeholders to ensure products launch in the marketplace with maximum impact.  Manage product end-of-life activities. Develop the product content for training & in-store initiatives.  Create presentation materials for sales teams, distributors, retailers, corporate accounts and all external audiences. Provide ongoing updated content for Company website and Social marketing, liaising with the /web/online team to implement changes. Preparation and presentation of sales and marketing presentations and reports using MS Word, Excel PowerPoint and other corporate tools.  Sales Analysis and Reporting:  Conduct ongoing analysis of POS sales results. This includes monthly trend and cover analysis, communicating financial results on a regular basis and to ad hoc requests.   Analyze performance and utilize market research to further drive sell through performance and increase market share. Maintain and improve existing sales tools.   Conduct tactical competitive analysis & develop competitive sales tools for the organization.   Operational Assistance:   Utilize and update various corporate systems for forecasting, supply chain, inventory, pricing and promotional management.  Provide assistance in prioritizing among product deliveries in supply-constrained situations and critical situation management. Project Management:  Assist or lead the development and execution of various projects to ensure business objectives are met.  Coordinate and ensure key stakeholders are aligned with project/promotional strategies to ensure excellent execution throughout the organization. Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required: The candidate will have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous product management related projects and programs in a fast-paced, ever-changing corporate environment.
