"Job Title - FEA Simulation Software Sales Executive Verticals - Aerospace/Automotive and into new areas Location - West Midlands,UK Salary - Competitive basic and commission, bonuses and car allowance CAE SALES EXECUTIVE REQUIRED My client is a world leading software editor for the numerical simulation of prototype and manufacturing process engineering in applied mechanics. The key to their success is the use of realistic material physics, providing “as good as real” virtual solutions, in order to replace the lengthy trial and error processes on real prototypes. Job description we are currently seeking a CAE Sales Executive to grow their simulation business in the existing user base and expand from our traditional automotive and aerospace markets into new markets, including energy and defence. You will be part of an ambitious international company that is growing rapidly in the marketplace. Ideally the candidate will have easy access to the Midlands area of the UK. Among others, your duties will include: • liaising with other managers/staff to discuss employer’s or client’s requirements, • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales, • gathering market and customer information, • representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations, • recording sales and order information and entering into a computer based sales management system, • reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets, • gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements, • making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations, • feeding future buying trends back to employer, • Examination and analysis of sales figures and preparation of proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Desired Skills & Experience • An engineering degree and good understanding of the current manufacturing challenges is a pre-requisite, • Technical knowledge of NVH, Casting, Welding or Crash simulation • Simulation sales experience in the engineering environment would be advantageous, but our client will provide in depth sales training on the products and solutions that they offer to their customers, • Experience in the deployment of innovative engineering solutions in various markets , • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), • Proactive and flexible approach, • Fluent in English.
