"The Role We are looking for an experienced Director of engineering to lead product development for a thriving international start-up. You’ll be taking the success of the world’s #1 app store analytics product suite and utilizing that know-how to build a completely new line of products to serve the international app publisher ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for an innovative analytics platform that has the potential to impact the economics of the global app publisher ecosystem. You will work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Sales) to define and implement the product. In addition you will contribute to the high level strategy for product solutions and lead product enhancements through the entire lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading a team through the design, development and product launch using Agile methodology • Developing an extremely thorough product design spec and detailed prioritized product development roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager • Liaising with Product Managers and the Marketing team • Providing platform support including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution • Interfacing with internal/external partners to ensure successful platform delivery • Understanding the international app publisher ecosystem You You should be an experienced Director of Engineering who has international experience and a strong technical background: • 8 years plus working experience, including at least 3 years in a Director of Engineering role • Strong skills in requirements gathering and formulating a development plan • Strong general technical background and particularly in • Distributed architecture • Large scale data and DB • Web development • Experience in Mobile apps development is a big plus • Experienced in Linux working environment • Passion for mobile apps, advertising and analytics • Excellent written and communication skills • Fluent English a must • Should be excited about exponential growth opportunities at a successful start-up • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline required"
