"Job: Regional Account Manager - Industrial - OH 652892 in Columbus, OH Regional Account Manager - Industrial - OH 652892 Our client has been providing industrial ventilation and heating equipment for over 50 years. Founded in 1961 by it's founder with equipment blueprints and a passion for ventilation, they have continued grown over the years. From a small office near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this client provided ventilation equipment to steel mills and foundries around the Northeast. This company is known for its Gravity Ventilators and commitment to quality products and customer service. Over the years, they have grown from a one-man operation to large company with dozens of employees that spans the globe.   The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for covering a territory from Minnesota, thru Iowa down to Missouri through Kentucky and up to Maine. The successful Regional Manager Candidate candidate will accomplish the following: • Prospect, qualify and close new business in the assigned territory. • Understand and explain the features and benefits of company products and services. • Compare and explain product features to those of the leading competitors. • Effectively demonstrate the functionality of company products. • Be proficient in demonstration skills and be able to show all company products and articulate features, functions and benefits with a “solution” approach. • Integrate prospect requirements with company products. Clearly communicate pertinent and significant information to appropriate team members. • Develop successful implementation plans and lead customers through them. Be actively involved during initial project scope activities. • Participate as key resource in Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations, helping with configuration, building out, and working toward meeting the POC acceptance criteria. • Conduct successful technical audit meeting with customers to clarify their environment requirements. • Portray a professional image and present the company as a service-oriented, customer-centric organization. • Contact clients regularly in order to ensure customer satisfaction. General Business Duties and Responsibilities: • Possess and continue to build upon, in-depth knowledge of ventilation products, and industry trends. • Possess and continue to build an understanding of, and increased responsibilities for tasks associated with the sales cycle and customer anchoring process. • Execute project management tasks and activities. • Investigate new company products and features and "package" them into marketable entities. • Report client status and personal activities according to branch and corporate standards. Job Qualifications: • College degree or equivalent with preferred background in engineering. • Strong technical skills. • Five plus years experience working selling industrial solutions. • Willingness to travel within a large sales territory. • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. • Good written and oral communication skills.
