Technical Recruiter / Business Development Specialist in Austin, TX vrecruiting is currently hiring an Executive Recruiter / Business Development professional to join our expanding Austin, TX practice!  Excellent base salary + Uncapped Commission Plan! Due to tremendous success with our vrecruiting service offerings, a niche practice within vcfo, we are seeking an energetic and driven Executive Recruiter / Business Development professional to join our team! This personwill specialize in technical recruiting / high tech placement, and provide both retained and contingent searches, as well as interim placement for special engagements. In this role, you will drive and develop new business opportunities while managing the candidate search process for our external clients and prospects. You will have the benefit of leveraging our extensive client base to identify and sell search services and will collaborate within our extensive network to recruit top talent to fill those positions and introduce other services offered by vcfo. This individual is needed to perform full lifecycle recruiting and full sales cycle business development in the area of either IT / high tech. Flexibility, recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization are required. Ability to succeed in a collaborative team environment required. Solutions include permanent placement, contract to hire offering, and customized recruiting outsourcing options. This position delivers high quality management, recruitment of professional and executive-level candidates across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. Ideally we are seeking a skilled professional that has recruited with quality firms and /or had their own boutique recruiting practice. Knowledge of Austin market is a plus but not required. This position is a heavy business development / sales type of recruiting position, so knowing the major players in the Technology / high tech arena in Austin and central Texas would be a huge advantage.    Responsibilities: Identify and generate new business with C-level decision-makers to maintain pipeline of requisition flow and develop long-term business relationships.  You MUST be able to close and bring in business! Meet with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their business needs, develop job descriptions and recruiting strategies, and determine the traits and attributes the ideal candidates should have to be considered for placement. Recruit experienced professionals for placement through networking, cold-calling, warm calling, database mining, social media platforms, industry events, etc. Thoroughly screen, interview and qualify candidates for placement, ensuring each candidate presented to our clients meets or exceeds their expectations.
