As a part of the Nuclear Generation business unit's sustainability team you will have the opportunity to part of an energy company who is committed to delivering safe, reliable low carbon energy to the UK through Nuclear Generation. About the role This role will help ensure that EDF Energy delivers its ambition to be a leader in sustainability, through the value added via its Nuclear Generation business. In order to achieve this you will work on highlighting emerging trends and tracking the external sustainability agenda in order to make sure that EDF Energy is setting the sustainability standard for the nuclear energy industry. You will work closely with the Head of Fleet Sustainability for Nuclear Generation on developing and implementing improvement strategies across EDF Energy's fleet of eight nuclear power stations in theUK. You will represent the Nuclear Generation business unit on various EDF Energy sustainability working groups, giving you the opportunity to network across the wider company. About You As an experienced sustainability professional, you will have developed a strong market insight into corporate sustainability agenda and how it applies to the Energy sector, ideally with an understanding of Nuclear energy. During this time you will have worked on developing and implementing corporate sustainability strategies through programmes across various projects/sites with a proven track record of success. Most importantly you will be a highly motivated team player, with a proven track record of effectively influencing internal and external stakeholders and of developing and managing key relationships in order to deliver added value to the business.
