"Job: QA Engineer in Beaverton, OR Our Client is seeking a QA Engineer for their current project. Employment Type: Long-term contract Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 12+ months Openings: 1 The nature of the work is focused on the company’s computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information. Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. Conducts software inspection, testing, verification, and validation. Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contract. Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Minimum qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years functional testing experience with a strong background in web service and GUI technologies. • Familiarity with JSON and XML. • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Must be organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough. • Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently and in a team environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to handle complex testing assignments. • Knowledge of testing web based applications with end-to-end testing experience. • Identify issues & report them through defect tracking tools. Preferred Skills: • Automated testing using various tools. (Jmeter, Selenium, jUnit, etc.) • Prior experience with Certona Recommendations product. • Ecommerce web testing. • Java script development. http://bull.hn/l/WCSV/2"
