They have achieved an impressive market share to date and continue to grow through offering innovative solutions to their customers. A new and exciting opportunity now exists for a talented Telco regulatory lawyer to join their Dubai team. This role requires the holder to have a high degree of regulatory experience coupled with commercial acumen and a solid understanding of what it takes to work as part of a fast paced dynamic business. The role holder will be responsible for administering and managing regulatory policy across the company, whilst acting in a legal advisory capacity, reporting into the General Counsel. You will be required to handle the following – • Advise on legal/regulatory issues • Review, draft and negotiate contracts • Manage resolution of regulatory disputes • Provide training and knowhow on relevant legal and regulatory issues • Manage external counsel You must be - • A qualified lawyer (around 10 PQE) with existing in-house experience of competition law, telecommunications regulation, drafting wholesale agreements and dispute resolution. • Possess business fluent English. Arabic is an advantage but not essential • Extensive experience of Middle Eastern business practices • Proven track record in building successful business relationships This company offers a competitive package and exciting professional development prospects.
