The Cisco IP Network Implementation / NOC / Deployment / Commissioning Engineer is accountable for the remote configuration of customer solutions over the network infrastructure including the ATM, Ethernet, IP-VPN & MPLS Wide Area Network encompassing a broad range of product & services for Voice, Data, Video & Connectivity solutions. This role requires an experienced engineer with Cisco IP config & provisioning deployment skills. As such, to be considered candidates should possess previous proven experience within a network implementation or support role for a major IT Provider, Corporate, System Integrator, Service Provider, Technology, Telecom, Carrier, Internet, ISP, hosting or other similar organisation. Technical acumen across Cisco routing protocols & IP networking technologies to include Cisco router and switch configuration, including dynamic routing (BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP), IP/VPN, MPLS, TCP/IP etc. is required. Working in the capacity of IP Data Engineer for this highly respected brand as part of the Customer Solution Delivery team, the position is available on a rolling contract basis. A broad understanding of a range of technologies including ATM, Frame Relay, SDH, ADSL, Ethernet, Leased Lines is also desirable. IMPORTANT: Candidates must hold current SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain it. Formal accreditation in CCNA is ideal however candidates that wish to obtain this certification with some hands on experience will also be considered.
