Electrical Devices & Systems (ED&S) is a $400 million global division of Environmental Combustion & Controls (ECC) providing a broad portfolio of leading branded products in electrical wiring devices, Lighting control systems, circuit protection, cable management and chimes. For our European Electronic Devices & System Business located in Lüdenscheid with more than 350 employees, we are looking for a Regional Sourcing Leader (m/f) Purpose of the Job A key member of the management team driving the strategic direction of the Peha & Friedland divisions based out of Lüdenscheid, Germany. Reporting to the Electrical Products LOB Sourcing Leader with responsibility for $20m annual spend across the divisions’ multi-site operation. Responsibilities • Functional leadership of all Peha & Friedland procurement personnel. • Achieve productivity, delivery and supplier quality targets in line with the Annual Operating Plan • Deploy lean supply chain management techniques to leverage agility in the supply chain to support the make to order manufacturing operation • Align site supplier strategy with European & Global Commodity strategies • Comply with approved ECC / Honeywell sourcing policies and procedures • Drive Sourcing involvement in NPI Activities through all phases of the NPI cycle • Support periodic product lifecycle reviews to ensure optimisation of product portfolio, component and supply base. • Define, document and continuously improve Sourcing processes • High levels of x-functional collaboration to continually improve wider business processes • Lead year over year site-specific supplier agreement negotiations, driving timely implementation. • Improve business working capital by optimisation of payables and inventory. • Work with Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain on component and value engineering opportunities and delivery. Requirements • Member of CIPS or equivalent professional qualification • Proven track record in successful leadership and implementation of sourcing strategies • Capability to foster and drive change in the organisation • Strong organisational and leadership skills in an international environment with the ability to lead and drive projects to completion • Strong skills in buying, negotiation, and agreement / contract administration • Effective team builder and team participant with strong communication skills • Ability to present, sell and implement ideas to various levels both internal and external • Willingness to spend reasonable time on business travel • Minimum 3 – 5 years demonstrated commodity / supply-chain experience in Purchasing in a related industry • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP is desirable. • Fluent German and English INTERESTED?
