"This leading global market research company is now seeking a Director to join their dedicated pharmaceutical business, based in their Singapore office. With a background in healthcare market research, you should have extensive experience working closely with leading pharmaceutical companies across Asia. This role would suit someone with 8+ years of relevant experience (preferably focusing on RX and some consumer), who can demonstrate their strengths in business and client development. The company in question offers both primary research and syndicated products and you will be responsible for implementing research solutions which positively impact on your clients’ business. The main responsibilities of the role will include: • Maintaining successful and profitable relationships with existing clients • New business development with leading pharmaceutical companies • Acting as a trusted advisor to your clients • Designing and delivering research and consultancy projects to clients • Overall management and training of junior research staff In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone who is driven, self-motivated and excellent at all forms of communication. If you have a strong existing network with potential clients across the region this is highly preferred. The remuneration will include a base salary and commission package related to sales targets. Travel will be an essential part of the role. Singapore experience is absolutely vital for this role and existing client relationships will obviously be an advantage.
