OUR CLIENT an important multinational company is looking for his branch in Slovakia, Bratislava for a: IT Manager - Secure Workplace of Future (m/f) TASK: Deliver on the goals to migrate standard users from XP to Win7 Deliver migration processes and tools to enable WinXP to Linux, Win7 to Linux and WinXP to Win7 including “peer to peer” and “in place migration” solution Manage a department of 10-20 individuals in line with the performance objectives of the respective area and ensure operational excellence Manage HR processes including hiring, personnel evaluations, career development, skill development, compensation, and workforce diversity. Facilitate team recognition & reward. Support an empowered team through counseling, coaching, instilling trust, and clarifying boundaries. Participate in assigned task forces and projects. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate is expected to have previous experience, at least 3 years in managing people and change management. Experience from different functions within IT business background is an advantage. Project Management skills an advantage. PC literacy, including proficiency with excel Fluent English (written and spoken) with communication on Executive level. Ability to work under pressure, make decisions to meet critical deadlines.
