"Berean group is seeking a VMWare Administrator Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: contract to hire Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Description: VMWare administrator with both vSphere and View experience, and really preferring they would also have experience with Exchange (not a must). General Experience: Two to five years of experience in the management, maintenance, and sustainment of VMWare desktop (View) and virtualized server environment. Strong knowledge of VMWare virtualization methodologies and underlying technologies. Exchange 2010 experience highly desirable. Job Description: The qualified candidate will install, configure, administer and manage the VMWare infrastructure in the hosting environments. Provide technical support for incident management and problem solving. Perform comprehensive system tests. Performs performance optimization and recommends tuning. Coordinates and performs all required system updates and patching to the VMWare systems hosting infrastructure. It is my expectation that anyone with the above skills will have mid-level knowledge of networking, Windows Server 08 administration and network services, and at least some level of exposure to a variety of other IT skills. Expectation is 5-8 years admin experience with 2 years view. View can be less, but must be one year.
