"Progress Rail Services, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., is a major supplier of products and services to the rail industry throughout North America and the world. We are currently looking to add a Recruiting Specialist at our office in Albertville, AL Responsibilities: Source, identify, screen and interview candidates for all assigned positions to support over 100 US and international production/reman/material processing locations, using multiple sourcing methods, such as: direct sourcing (cold calling), Internet mining/searching, posting/mining social networking sites. Post open positions (on various job search websites, colleges/universities/trade schools, out reach and professional organizations and social networking sites); set up and execute direct email campaigns; data mine multiple web based resume databases for possible candidates. Oversee and manage agreements with temporary staffing and search firms. Assist with the development of candidate recruitment materials (position or location specific). Manage internal posting process (via bulletin boards and ATS). Maintain HR data in ATS. Develop salary offers utilizing company benchmarking tools. Prepare offer letters and related documents. Coordinate background verification/drug screening. Ensure OFCCP, FCRA and I-9 compliance. Collect/manage/enter applicant flow data and other required demographic data. Maintain recruiting reports on a monthly basis. Develop detailed work/process instructions using MS Office. Regular contact with senior company leadership and others outside of work group. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Human Resources or some other related discipline. Minimum of 3-5 years experience recruiting and sourcing experienced talent for a multi-location OEM, ideally should have experiences that include recruiting for several of the following areas: Railroad Car/Track/Signaling Reman and Recycling or Production Management, Engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, Welding, Liaison), IT, Safety, Purchasing, Materials Management. Must have experience with OFCCP compliance and record keeping. Prior experience with applicant tracking systems (ideally iApplicant and Taleo). Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to relate to all levels of management and the public at large. High level of analytical ability. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Ability to work in teams (local and geographically dispersed). Ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision. Bilingual – Spanish. Results Oriented.
