Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Sustainability Culture Manager Kristen Tillett posted a job: Sustainability Culture Manager "We have an new opportunity for a sustainability specialist to play a key part in developing the whole company's sustainability culture. It acts under guidance of the Sustainability Strategy Lead Manager but with the freedom to make some decisions independently. The post holder will be a point of contact both internally and externally, engaging internal customers and strategic external stakeholders to make sustainability and environmental responsibility an ever-stronger part of day-to-day culture at EDF Energy. Job purpose * Work with the Sustainability Strategy Lead Manager to ensure sustainability and environmental responsibility are at the heart of our business with the right strategy, policies, tools and processes, skills and knowledge, reporting and communications in place. * Set and drive delivery of the company's sustainability and environmental culture programme, making it an ever-stronger part of 'the way we do business'. Specifically embed this in business-wide policy and practice. * Provide advice and expert guidance to the business on all aspects of sustainability and environmental responsibility (e.g. ethics, social and environmental issues, sustainable procurement, people policy, project management, economic sustainability, communications and reporting). * Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholders in support of our sustainability and environmental leadership agenda. Qualifications and Experience * Degree level capability, ideally with specific qualifications in a sustainability / environmental field. * Experience of working in the sustainability field in the private, public or NGO sectors. * Experience of achieving real change / culture change through engagement, communication, persuasion and influence. * Professional sustainability and/or environmental membership advantageous. * Ability to speak French advantageous but not essential. Technical and Commercial Knowledge and Skills * Demonstrable understanding of key ethical, environmental and social sustainability issues, preferably with specialist knowledge of issues relevant to EDF Energy including procurement, project management and people policy and practice. * High levels of critical thinking, persuasive and influencing skills. * Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships across a complex business and at all levels. * Understanding of best practice/ leadership in sustainability engagement, communications and skills. * Excellent communicator - including written and verbal presentation skills for technical and more general audiences. * Good planning, organisation and project management skills. * Able to demonstrate passion for sustainability and act as an example of sustainability and environmental leadership / role model at work and / or home. * Proven ability to effectively collaborate, and to build relationships and partnerships (internally and externally) that are transparent, equitable, and mutually beneficial.
