Name: Contact Info: Location: Current Salary: Expected Salary: Availability: Best time to call: Yrs of Exp.: Visa Status: Job Description: Title: Associate Site Analytics Manager Location: San Jose, CA Term: Full Time Key Responsibilities • Conduct adhoc analysis to answer business questions and support domain team • Monitor product performance and identify pain points for users • Take the lead on interpreting A/B test results; Provided key business partners with clear, well-articulated and holistic recommendation based on A/B test results • Tracking and reporting for ongoing business Job Requirements • Designing and executing analyses using a range of tools, including: Internally-developed simulation tools An extensive data warehouse • Analyzing the business impact of changes to the website with regard to various site usage and performance metrics • Packaging and communicating findings to partners, including product management, Business and product development team, as well as the broader analytics team. Proactively sharing analysis and insights with rest of team to promote ongoing learning and development of analytic talent • Partnering with Product Management to evaluate the business case of new site features prior to product launch • Utilizing creative thinking, business acumen, and data-driven insight to design future tests Basic Qualifications • Successful candidates will offer a strategic perspective, possess sound business judgment and deep analytical capabilities, demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively. They will possess strong intellectual curiosity, and a passion for achieving practical business impact. Skills in problem definition, rigorous analysis, and recommendation development will also be critical. Successful candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills, initiative, and integrity. • Proven ability to take on white space analysis, structure the problem, develop an analysis plan and execute on it while setting and meeting tight timelines • Exceptional data mining and quantitative analytic ability. Hands-on data analytics experience is a must • Strong academic profile with an emphasis on quantitative coursework (e.g., degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, MBA) • Advanced SQL querying ability is a must, expert Excel / PowerPoint skills and basic understanding of data warehouse architecture are required. Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS) is a plus • Experience in product / web analytics is strongly preferred • 3+ years of experience, ideally in web analytics or at a leading management consulting, financial services or marketing company • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to present insights and recommendations persuasively. Skill and confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organization are essential. • Past experience demonstrating strong focus on client needs in an analytical environment is a plus • Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity • High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while juggling multiple responsibilities • Some international experience would be a plus."
