Duties and Accountabilities:
The ETC   will be working as a member of the IMTCT application team in our Chennai office. This engagement is for maintenance of a system and hence is required for the life of the system.


General Accountability:
  • Quickly come up to speed on various facets of the Financial Transactions Process Renewal system (SAP portion), to be able to provide full maintenance support to the system.
  • Effectively communicate with Business and Technical analysts to gather requirements for enhancements and prepare a development/technical   requirements document.  Prepare detailed technical specifications based on BRD for development.
  • Effectively work in a medium size team.
  • Understand quickly the quality compliance (CMM) process followed in the Bank and abide by that process.
  • Communicate proactively and frequently with project team to ensure that issues and risks are addressed in a timely manner.
Skill Set requirements:
  • Ability to quickly understand scope of the system and inter-dependencies of various components.
  • Ability to quickly understand system issues highlighted by users and able to fix problems as per agreed SLA with users.
  •  Ability to plan, coordinate and manage enhancement tasks, based on user requirements.
  • Strong ABAP development (including module pool programming) experience in developing efficient custom solutions in SAP 4.7. Understands the SAP Developer Workbench, and the various SAP development components available for clients to develop custom enhancements (i.e. BAPI, BDC, User Exit, Smart Forms, SAP Script)
  • Strong experience with writing technical specifications (based on user requirements) and “understanding document” to convey proper understanding of requirements.
  • Strong ability to perform impact analysis of new additions or changes to the existing system.
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.
  • Academic/professional training to at least a Bachelor's Degree or its international equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
  • Good communicating and presentations skills, both oral and written. 
  • Ability to multi task between small/mid size projects.
  • Minimum 4 years development experience in SAP ABAP.
