"THE POSITION: The primary responsibility of the Key Account Specialist (KAS) is to align the company’s strategy with customers needs by developing mutual business opportunities. The KAS has to maximize short and long term sales and profitability and build long term relationships with customers to become the preferred category supplier. Position will be located in Tabouk. • Gather customer trends, needs and competitor information and disseminate within the organization. • Set strategic direction for Key Account Customers with General Operations Manager or Country Manager. • Maximize category potential for the company and its customers. • Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor customer specific strategies in line with brand objectives “Account plan”, including range development, merchandising / space, promotion, pricing. • Define and set up best Practices of Promotion planning. • Ensure that in-store activity generates sales. • Prepare and conduct regular customer business planning and review periodically cycle involving all internal service providers. • Prepare tailor-made promotion in line with Marketing objectives. • Review and amend the promotion forecast (volume and fund needed). • Follow up financial performance of Key Account Customer (Customer Contribution Statement and Trade Spend) for future discussions. • Develop and keep up-to-date Customer Profiles. • Follow up on payment delays. • Develop and manage long term customer relationships. • Ensure on time collection. • Report on competitive activities. • Communication - Coordination:  Internally with: A&P Manager, CCSD Team, KA Team  Externally with: Sampling Agencies & other 3rd Party Service Providers. Reports to: Field Sales Manager / Senior Key Account / Key Account Manager THE CANDIDATE: • 1-2 years working experience in Sales operation. Marketing experience is a plus. • Previous experience in the FMCG industry is a plus. • University Degree in Commercial Science. • Knowledge of product and local market. • Understand company strategies / objectives and Customer needs and buying pattern. • International Retailers knowledge. • Training / Organizational / Analytical thinking and problem solving skills. • Financial / Logistic / Marketing skills. • Combining individualism with team spirit - Leadership qualities. • Initiative and follow through. • Clean and professional appearance - Presentable. • Excellent attitude - enthusiasm, self-motivator – Innovative attitude. • Reliable, trustworthy - dependable. • Excellent communication and reporting skills:  Able to self-express - Communicate easily.  Manage an excellent communication with customers and major accounts.  Communication with management.  Report problems (reactive). • Language requirements for the position: Arabic and English. • IT proficiency: able to use Microsoft Office Professional Suite - ERP knowledge is a plus. • Two business references are required. At least one is less than 5 years old. Can only be direct colleague, line manager, client or partner with whom an interaction of at least 6 months has been achieved.
