Title: Web Developer | New York, NY Type: Contract (9 Months) Salary: Market Job ID: 1460F- 001Web JOB DESCRIPTION This position is required to writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 4 years of experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, laptop  Minimum 4 years of experience in assisting and/or leading in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions involving Java Servlets and JSP.  Experience modifying existing programs, designing and developing new programs in Java programming language and use of Apache Tomcat application server and XML interfaces at a high quality on aggressive timelines  Experience developing high quality/sophisticated Web front-ends, using HTML, JavaScript and CSS, including mobile formatted Web pages, on aggressive timelines  Experience with Web Services and AJAX  Experience connecting to relational databases such as SQL Server DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:  Experience in independently, expeditiously completing simultaneous small/mid size web application projects while producing acceptable work product.  Experience working closely with testing teams to help develop testing cases and scripts and to correct issues and bugs (strong troubleshooting and analytical skills) within timelines  Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain clear documentation of all work performed and the ability to work well and communicate well in a team environment with other staff and consultants working in IT, business operations and Strategic Planning groups  Familiarity with developing Web applications in at least one additional programming language  Experience with public sector application development processes About MicroAgility: (An Award Winning Business and Technology Consultancy) MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
