View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/rd8FZx Job Description Responsibilities: • Sourcing new deal investment opportunities, which will entail the following: • Cold calling presidents, CEO’s, CFO’s, and owners of private and family-owned businesses • Following up on existing deal leads and building relationships with various deal sources • Calling investment bankers, deal brokers, and other intermediaries • Attending various industry conferences and tradeshows to generate new deal leads • Researching various micro-segments to identify potential target companies • Sending follow-up emails to potential prospects • Developing the firm’s marketing materials aimed at potential target companies • Developing and maintaining your deal pipeline and appropriate follow up action plan • Screening new deal investment opportunities • Developing relationships with intermediaries, company management teams, shareholders and other stakeholders (i.e., potential sellers) • Develop expertise in various chemical-related micro-segments Qualifications: • 2-10 years of sales or business development experience • Cold calling and relationship sales experience • An entrepreneur and result/success oriented (i.e. deal generation and execution) • Proven successful track record in generating new sales leads, following up on leads, and turning leads into new business • MUST BE very energetic, outgoing, highly motivated, optimistic, persistent, quick on your feet, and very professional / mature • MUST HAVE exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as the ability to interact with Presidents, CEO’s, CFO’s, and owners of private and family-owned businesses • Hardworking, self-motivated and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed (and be an asset to the organization) • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA is preferred, but not required)"
