Vice President, Health and Beauty Position will provide planning and supervision for accounts as well as provide specialized expertise in Health and Beauty. Implement and achieve corporate goals through participation in the decision-making and problem-solving processes as pertains to servicing existing clients. Participate in new business development activities. Serve as the strategic liaison among client, account team and agency management. Responsibilities: The Vice President, Health & Beauty will work with account teams to build incremental business and provide leadership in servicing existing accounts. • Serve as senior contact for clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of clients' business; develop strategy for implementing successful client programs. • Provide strategic guidance to clients on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address client needs. • Troubleshoot clients' problems as they arise; seek senior management input when appropriate. • Manage and delegate responsibilities of daily workflow of all accounts while driving consistent media results. • Direct and supervise work responsibilities of staff. • Help account team(s) work effectively and in the best interests of client(s); maximize agency's network of resources to enhance client services. • Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including client media materials, byline articles, client correspondence and reports. • Manage account financials including budget allocation and control ensuring team billability and account profitability. • Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback. • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others. • Participate in external company promotion through articles, speeches, presentations, professional memberships, etc. • Begin to build a leadership role in outside organizations to increase visibility in marketplace and create new business opportunities. Technical Skills & Qualifications: • B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field • 5-10 years of PR agency experience • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills • Strong leadership and motivation skills • Proven client relations and supervisory skills Salary Base Salary starting at $110k-$130k If you know anyone interested please have them contact me asap.
