The manager will interview out of state candidates, but they need to come to Denver for an in person interview following the phone screen, and be willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area within two weeks of an offer or sooner. No expenses will be paid - My client is open to mid to senior level candidates - Candidates MUST have experience with ASP.NET MVC - Additional experience with JQuery and CSS - Experience working with Oracle Databases Hiring Process Phone Interview followed by an In Person Interview Description ROLE PURPOSE: Designs, develops and maintains software on Microsoft's .NET/C# platform supporting critical business needs for a 12- week assignment. Provides technical knowledge to support and enhance existing applications and new applications for the Investments team. The role will work directly with technology team members. Candidate must have excellent analytical and development skills. Must be able to deliver in a team-based manner to ensure the software delivered matches the business needs. Candidate must be able to assist in design and development and should be comfortable with direct communication with technical, management and business resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Develop, debug, document and support a custom .NET application in support of investment business needs. · Deliver to aggressive product release schedules working as a cooperative team member in an agile development environment. · Participate in code design and code reviews with appropriate team members. · Ensures that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices and performance. · Effectively functions and communicates within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and business analysts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: · Experience in ASP.NET MVC/ mid-level developer · Some experience with Oracle databases. · Experience with JQuery and CSS and has done some decent sized web applications. · 12 week assignment MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: · Three + years of professional experience developing applications in C# and/or ASP.NET · Three + years of experience using one or more systems development life cycle methodologies · Previous experience in a financial, Mutual Fund or Securities environment preferred."
