Please review all of our national and international job listings at www.7SolutionsUSA.com Description Assist the Production team to technically satisfy production from the PA, 2-PH and Plasticizer plants and learn the technology for these units. This will require participation in the coordination of production, maintenance, technology improvements, capital investment, health and safety, ecology, quality assurance, and working closely in a "High Performance Team" environment. • Daily responsibilities include process optimization, procedure modifications, de-bottlenecking of equipment, troubleshooting of processes to improve performance and reliability. • Provide technical support in the development of plant trials, experiments, and data collection, as required • Provide technical support to the Production Team in the resolution of plant problems. • Participate and support the site's LEAN Manufacturing activities • Lead continuous improvement efforts • Participate in PHAs • Utilize technical background and troubleshooting techniques to improve processes and product quality • Ensure plant changes or modification are captured and documented as apart of the PSM "Management of Change". Provide Technical support for risk assessments on Management of Changes to ensure changes do not jeopardize safety of plant • Function as liaison with all service groups to ensure that work related to the production facilities is accomplished correctly, promptly and in the most cost effective manner • Provide input on training of team members with regards to operations technology, plant experiences, plant record keeping, and safety. • Participate in compiling and/or reviewing Daily Production Reports, Monthly Production and Raw Materials Reports, budget forecasting, and Property Account Records • Serve as a manufacturing representative on small capital projects and execute commissioning and startup of capital projects • Assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of shutdown work including maintenance and capital activities • Conduct root cause analysis on process incidents and process inducted mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions to permanently eliminate them. • Participate in the development, planning, scheduling, and execution of plant turnarounds Required: • BS degree in Chemical Engineering required. • Two to 5 years experience in operations of a chemical plant with intimate knowledge of departmental functions and plant operations a plus strong understanding of Process Safety concepts and their applications. • Strong interpersonal skills are required to interface with various site Teams. • Strong technical skills to help troubleshoot problems in the different manufacturing areas. • Understanding of the Capital Procurement Process and management of Capital Projects. • Ability to learn and understand process controls (DCS & field controllers) and how they can be applied to improve plant performance."
