We currently have a client in the Healthcare industry that needs a Core Java Developer for their offices in NW Miami-Dade County, FL. They can arrange their team to accommodate either a Junior or Senior Level professional, and so they are open to either level of professional. JAVA DEVELOPER (Either Junior or Senior Level) NW Miami-Dade County, FL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform maintenance coding functions to company systems with an emphasis on quality. - Develop new software to enhance company systems and work closely with IS management and users to insure systems meet company needs. - Analyze, plan, design and install new computer systems, and monitor and upgrade existing computer systems. - Assist with the development of technical specs used in the software development process. - Project a positive, user friendly attitude towards the internal and external customers of IS. - Install and upgrade existing software. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have Java, JDBC, SQL, Html, Javascript and CSS development background of at least 6 years for Senior role, or at least 1 year for Junior role. Optional skills include Servlets, JSP, Jasper Reports, Ajax, CVS, Tomcat, Linux, Quartz. Must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
