Our client offers excellent salary packages and benefits along with a health working environment with like-minded people. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, ideally in a similar role • Proven experience with build, design and implementation of shared desktop solutions using Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions. • Ability to write and use Powershell scripting to automate tasks. • Experience and use of Server Provisioning technologies • Experience and use of Microsoft App-V • Windows 2003/2008 server including Active Directory • Ability to use MSProject, MSOffice suite and MSVisio products to prepare, plan and present work packages and solutions • Demonstrable experience in business writing and the ability to create business justifications which will involve financial analysis • Demonstrable understanding and several years’ experience of operations management requirements • Experience in vendor discussions and leading RFI, RFP process • Experienced dealing with professionals in other disciplines • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures • Knowledge of project management methodologies • Fluent in business English language - written and verbal. Knowledge and Experience of the following is desirable: • IBM and HP server hardware • Server virtualization technologies • Linux Redhat operating system • Knowledge and use Storage Area Networks • Cisco switches and PIX firewalls (CCNA level) • Experience of using firewalls, implementing rules & troubleshooting networking issues. • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Education and Qualifications • 3rd Level Degree educated in IT, recognised qualification in Information Technology or experience led equivalent • ITIL foundation • Citrix Certified Administrator for XenApp 4.5 • Citrix Certified Administrator for XenApp 6 • Citrix Certified Administrator for XenDesktop 4 • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE Say YES and Apply Today (Link Below) or send your CV directly to richard.snowden@gempool.ie GemPool – Great People for Smart Clients"
