Senior Software Engineer in San Jose, CA Our Client is a Publicly traded Multi-billion$$$ company looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with a Background in the Telecom, Mobile, and/or Wireless Communications sector. You will be part of a "Top Notch" Development Team of approx. 10-20 total resources working on Multiple Projects. These Projects will impact: Product Development, SharePoint, Web Development, and Mobile Applications. Job Summary: The Sr. Software Engineer serves a critical role to develop Integrated Security System Monitoring solutions. Primarily focus on the design and development of a robust plug-n-play embedded appliance platform.   Duties & Responsibilities: Contribute to core framework design and implementation Apply Windows Embedded technologies to enable and productized PSIM software on a robust appliance Interact effectively with Architect, CTO, Product Manager, and Engineering team to drive optimized solutions under known constraints Implement Development and QA processes or best practices for Embedded Appliance product life cycles Provide innovative approaches to adopt leading edge embedded appliance technologies   Qualifications/Education: Four year degree in Engineering or Computer Science Experience: A proven record of delivering robust plug-n-play embedded appliance products on time with high quality Excellent hands-on Windows Embedded design and implementation experience Effective in recommending and deciding on the appliance form factors based on cost, performance, and related criteria Proficient written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills   Skills: Self-motivated, innovative, and ability to take ownership in concert with his/her manager with little guidance A strong team player who is willing to support cross team members and adopt changes 8+ years of experience in web based application architecture, design and development using Microsoft technologies 3+ years as a hands-on architect, designing and implementing embedded software using Microsoft technologies (Embedded Windows / ASP.NET / C# / SQL server) Excellent knowledge in designing and implementing service frameworks on the Windows platform using Microsoft C#/.Net Framework. Hands on experiences of performance tuning, multithreaded coding, and high available system implementation on the Microsoft C#/Net Framework Good knowledge on Design Patterns, Cloud Computing (Windows Azure, SQL Azure, AppFabric), LINQ, Entity Frameworks, Silverlight, XAML, .NET Framework 4.0, ASP.NET, C#, Windows Services, AJAX, JQuery , SOAP, IIS 7, HTML5, etc. A plus for knowledge of one or more of the following product: Software House C*CURE, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, OnSSI, DVTel, JDS, Pelco, American Dynamics VideoEdge, March Networks VideoSphere, Cisco Video Management System, Avigilon, Bosch, Exacq, etc.     http://bull.hn/l/8N1T/6"
