"I have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager for a project for our client in the Raleigh/Durham area. The consultant would manage the day-to-day project operations (strategies, resource, time, and cost management) within a functional business group. The ideal candidate would have a BS in Accounting/Finance, MBA preferred; 6+ years of project management experience required, PMP required; previous financial services (banking) experience required; advanced knowledge of project metrics/analysis/risk assessment required; proficiency with MS Office and Project (or similar applications) required; knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma preferred; knowledge and/or experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred; the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; strong attention to detail and problem-solving and analytical skills; and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Local candidates preferred, open to consultants in the Mid-Atlantic area or able to travel. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
