"Berean Group is looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager for its end client. Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: Perm Salary: D.O.E Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Essential Functions • Develops detailed project plans and schedules, assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and monitors progress to ensure timely completion within budget • Manages project scope, provides technical and people leadership, manages project risks and issues, drives project to completion • When feasible, apply business process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean/ISO 9000) to further increase customer satisfaction and the success of the project • Assist in the development and day-to-day management of reporting cost, scope, and status of the of the projects contained in the IT Project Portfolio Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines • 3+ years project management experience with progressive experience in managing larger projects and a thorough understanding of the Project Life Cycle • 6-8 years progressive experience in a combination of program development, systems analysis and/or network design • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP, and MS Project Desired Qualifications • Experience implementing GE?s Small world GIS platform (at least 2 full lifecycle implementations) • 5-7 years experience managing large projects which facilitate transformational change within the organization • Demonstrable implementation experience for multiple clients with utility GIS applications, ESRI ArcGIS, Telvent ArcFM applications, Intergraph G/Technology and Intergraph utility applications, GE Small world and GE Small world utility applications, and other network modeling and management systems (e.g., network analysis, outage management, and distribution management.) • Experience managing mid-to-large scale IT infrastructure projects.
