"Berean Group is seeking Sr. IT Project Manager - OMS/DMS for its end client. Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: Perm Salary: D.O.E Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Essential Functions • Develops detailed project plans and schedules, assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and monitors progress to ensure timely completion within budget • Manages project scope, provides technical and people leadership, manages project risks and issues, drives project to completion • Ensures that systems are planned, developed, and implemented according to department and company policies and standards • Recommends processes and procedures to improve the quality of PSE?s project quality and methodologies Other Functions • When feasible, apply business process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma/Lean/ISO 9000) to further increase customer satisfaction and the success of the project Required Qualification • Bachelors? degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines • 3+ years project management experience with progressive experience in managing larger projects and a thorough understanding of the Project Life Cycle • 6-8 years progressive experience in a combination of program development, systems analysis and/or network design • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP, and MS Project Desired Qualification • Experience implementing GE’s Small world OMS platform (at least 2 full lifecycle implementations) • 5-7 years experience managing large projects which facilitate transformational change within the organization • Demonstrable implementation experience for multiple clients with utility OMS applications, and other network modeling and management systems (e.g., operations, construction, engineering, data management, and maintenance.) • Project Management Institute certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), demonstrated experience in leading projects, project portfolios or programs accepted in lieu of certification • Experience managing mid-to-large scale IT infrastructure projects.
