"Job: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER in Carlsbad, CA KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER Simply Biotech specializes in recruiting exclusively for San Diego's biotech and device community. We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager for a leading North San Diego County firm. Relocation assistance is available.   The qualified Key Account Manager will be responsible for establishing new and managing existing Key Accounts to achieve revenue growth in alignment with profit targets and other strategic growth targets. This person further monitors progress on key projects and ensures the communication is taking place between key customers and the relevant functional area internally. The selected candidate coordinates technical meetings, business meetings and sales meetings, both in-person and via telephone, web or videoconference as required to further the business relationship and monitors global interaction between key accounts and the company, whether within or outside of the established territory of responsibility. The Key Account Manager: * Supports company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions. * Meets or exceeds sales revenue targets for specified Key Accounts. * Facilitates relationship building between multiple levels on the organization, the sites as appropriate to the specific opportunity, and the Customer?s organization. * Manages project activity at the assigned Account(s), including product offering, recommended pricing levels, and establish sales strategy while following company policies and objectives. * Utilizes CRM tools to track and report status and progress of Key Account Activities * Facilitates creation and reporting of monthly Key Performance Indicators for progress on Key Account objectives.   * Provides quarterly reports on program milestones, key action areas, barriers to progress, and individual IOP sites progress towards program goals. Execute business plan elements designed to meet or exceed annual product and service sales goals, and target account and market objectives towards profitable revenue growth. Develops and implements strategies for displacement of competition at targeted accounts with the goal of increased market share and penetration.   * Provides the company with new product and service ideas, market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence. Participate on New Product Development, marketing, and sales teams as required. * Participates in any local trade organizations that will help grow the business in the territory. Audit, attend or participate in trade shows * Networks with other key (non-competitive) suppliers in the area to understand events in the market that may impact OEM ability to service the targeted account(s) * Establishes and maintains Value Selling certification, Negotiation Skills training and continuously improves skills through the use of other self-development tools. * Works with Inside Sales, Applications Engineers, Product Managers, etc. to assist in customer relations. * Works with Executive team to increase sales through strategic planning. * Sets up and maintains competitor files and share data with appropriate personnel. * Submits detailed expense reports. * Identifies and coordinates information to other divisions regarding sales opportunities. * Maintains cross-selling program in assigned territory.   The Key Account Manager will possess the following qualifications: * BA/BS in Engineering or Physics-related disciplines * 7+ years - experience in technical sales, ... http://bull.hn/l/F71J/2"
