Responsible for the people and resource management for the professional and managed services divisions, the Field Services Manager position plays a pivotal role in the success of major Federal Government projects. The key to the success of this role is driven by: • A strong background/experience in working within a Consulting or Managed/Professional Services environment; • The ability to manage people and resources across a wide range of enterprise level engagements; • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to motivate a diverse range of people with varying backgrounds and technical competencies; • Extensive experience in working within an ICT environment combined with a strong technical background; • Staff/resource development, performance reviews and training; • Ability to strategically work with the Practise Managers to develop a resource pipeline. Requirement for this position: 1. 5 + years experience as a Field Services Manager or Resource Manager within a ICT, Consulting or Managed Services environment 2. Experience working within the Canberra Federal Government 3. Established negotiation skills and strong business acumen 5. Commitment to working and developing resources to maximise productivity and efficiencies 6. ‘Can do attitude’ and ability to work deliver on your promise 7.
