"PRIMARY SKILLS: . Web Intelligence Report development including tables, crosstabs and charts . Variable cell creation . Info view Navigation . Business Objects Universe development including understanding of contexts, aliases and aggregate aware/aggregate navigation . Understanding of basic database concepts such as tables, views and joins . Advance SQL/PL SQL programming skills . Experience with one full scale Data Warehouse. Reporting implementation Preferred skills: . Very Good communication skills . Understanding of ETL & Reporting strategies and tools . ETL development . Teradata Database Experience PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for collaborating with the Infrastructure Lead and internal team to ensure that technical architecture complies with guidelines and restrictions for Best Buy leveraged environments. Participates and provides oversight of technical checkpoints to enforce standards and quality of Business Objects Solution. Assist in design, should develop, and document the Business Objects Universes & Reports. Unit and Self-test the developed artifacts; assist the QA and Deployment team in performing Quality assurance and deployment. Must have the ability to handle User Acceptance Testing as well. Must understand and implement best practices, tuning and optimization for Business Objects. Build Business Objects Webi Reporting, Business Objects Universes, Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to conduct efficient and meaningful meetings with technical peers regarding the solution designs. Ability to communicate with the Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Technical Leads when it comes to converting the reporting design into specific development activities Work closely with project Technical Lead to ensure that the end to end designs meet the business and data requirements. . QUALIFICATIONS: Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience Previous Experience: At least 5 years overall experience in Business Objects Implementation & Development Designing and developing with ETL Tools Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services. Additional, Cognos, etc. Demonstrated experience working on strategy projects and evaluating software in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and/or Data Management space Advanced SQL programming and analyzing ability is a MUST.
