They are currently expanding their Hospital based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE The candidate is responsible for the continuous improvement in the hospital, timely deliveries and satisfied patients/ visitors due to the quality advancement of the hospital and its services. KEY DUTIES • Develops and administers the quality education process formulating quality improvement programmes for employees • Prepares Internal Audit Schedules, assisting with Internal Audits and Audit results • Recommends quality tools and techniques to be used in measuring the company’s quality performance and variations; and solving quality problems • Recommends procedures and guidelines to direct the practices used in performing corrective action • Reviews Non-conformances, Corrective Actions, Observations, and Patient Complaints for repetitive trends, recommendations for changes and/or processes • Maintains the supplier audit program, coordinating with the purchasing function • Develops, writes, and implements Quality System Procedures, Company Standing Instruction and Company Work Instructions • Actively supports and participates in Quality Management System training programs and other quality-related training • Actively supports, participates and maintains the integrity and on-going function of the company and facilities safety programme • Supports and participates in the companies’ affirmative action/equal employment opportunity efforts ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • BS Degree qualified • 10+ years overall work experience • 10 years experience working in hospitals • At least 3 years as Quality Assurance Manager or equivalent Managerial level role • Worked in a hospital with at least 200 beds • Excellent English communication • Computer Literacy KEY SKILLS • Presentation and Communication Skills • Financial Management • Strong Commercial and Contract Awareness • Ability to comply with the company’s production, quality and safety standards • Work fluctuating schedules and extensive work hours • Cooperation with all departments to gain quality support and institute quality improved programmes within and across these boundaries • Stay informed with/in quality trends in the industry • Conducts quality code and manufacturing standards audits in a positive manner • Capable of performing a variety of manual assignments/tasks as defined by the critical demands of the job.
