"Contract Position-12 months Send resumes to: bciociola@covexllc.com -- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES >> * Provide modeling and data mining expertise to support predictive analytics initiatives by developing and running analytical algorithms using advanced statistical techniques. * Develop and execute statistical analysis programs aligned to business objectives. * Prepare, document and run analytical algorithms using advanced statistical techniques based on business objects. * Contribute to identifying business processes with a high benefit potential from using statistical analysis and techniques. * Ensure analysis data and programming code meet regulatory and company standards and are consistently structured to permit efficient programming and reporting. * Perform quality assurance procedures on work performed by others. * Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute software and/or systems using the currently endorsed tools for statistical analysis. * Assist in integration of data from remote entities, contract organizations and co-licensing partners to the central database. SKILLS >> * Strong expertise and proven ability in data mining, defining analytical algorithms and executing programs using advanced statistical techniques. * Working knowledge of decision support processes and systems with experience in data source systems, data warehouse and business intelligence. * Hands-on experience and knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL, Excel and Access applications. * Working knowledge of LRx and TRx data. * Proven ability to organize workload, priorities and complete tasks on time. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complicated analytical methodology to business users. * Ability to identify and solve technical problems. * 5+ years working in a pharmaceutical / research environment supporting analytical initiatives, preferably in marketing and sales organization. EDUCATION >> * Must have an advanced degree (PhD Preferred) in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics. * Masters with a minimum of 9 years on the job experience in advance analytics field"
