The compliance professional will be involved with forensic testing, creating new policies, supporting the maintenance and oversight of the company’s existing regulatory compliance program, and assisting with the implementation of enhancements and other changes to the program. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: * Forensic testing on paid consultants and expert networks * Organizing and monitoring records retention and assisting with maintenance of books and records * Assisting with the maintenance and oversight of the compliance program, updates to compliance policies and procedures * Assisting in the management of examinations (internal audits) and audits by regulatory authorities * Assisting with the firm’s annual compliance review and regulatory and compliance research * Assisting with compliance training for staff * Running and reviewing trading analyses, such as best execution and trade allocations * Drafting and reviewing compliance memos, meeting notes, and other documents * Assisting in regulatory filings (Form PF, 13F, etc.) * Assisting in monitoring employee compliance matters (personal trade monitoring, code of ethics, compliance certifications, etc.) * Assisting in the due diligence process of service providers and third parties. * Assisting in other areas of the firm’s business that pertains to legal matters Qualifications: * 3-5 years of professional working experience desired * Experience in financial services industry preferred * Some compliance or regulatory experience at a private equity fund, hedge fund or other asset management firm, law firm, compliance consulting firm or investment bank is desired but not required * Familiarity with the U.S. Investment Advisers Act is desired but not required To apply please submit your resume to Info@compliancesearch.com"
